In short

  • Hand tightened between two tubes, no drilling and no glue
  • Four printed parts, screw included, no metal hardware at all
  • 24 mm deep cradle, so a wet towel does not slide off

The problem

Your heated towel rail is already on the wall, and it never has enough hooks. Drilling the tiles for one more is out of the question in a rental, and stick-on hooks eventually fall off with the towel.

The solution

This hook clamps between two tubes of the rail. One plate grips the front, another the back, and the knurled screw passes between them. You tighten it by hand. It slides along the rail whenever you want, and comes off without leaving a mark.

Description

The measurement to take

Measure the diameter of your tubes and the spacing between two neighbouring tubes, centre to centre. The hook is made for round tubes of 18 to 22 mm and a spacing of 40 to 50 mm. If your figures fall outside that, write them in the order note: I adapt the model at no extra cost.

What you get

A complete hook is four printed parts: the Y hook, the front plate, the back plate and the knurled screw. No metal hardware, nothing else to buy. Every hook is assembled and checked before dispatch.

It does not slip

Both cradles are cut to the exact curve of the tube, so the hook cannot rotate under the weight of a wet towel. The cradle is 24 mm deep and its ends curl back inwards: a towel, a bathrobe or a swimsuit stays where you put it.

Fitting it

Unscrew the screw a few turns. Slide the front plate over the two tubes, hold the back plate behind, tighten by hand. Done.

Made to order
