After your order
Shipping and returns
A 3D printed object does not ship the same day: it is printed first, then checked, then dispatched. Here is how that unfolds, and what is planned if something goes wrong.
The journey of an order
1. Payment confirmed
The production time shown on the product page starts when payment is received.
2. Printing and inspection
The piece is printed in the material and colour you chose, then checked before packing.
3. Handed to the carrier
The parcel is on its way and you get the tracking number by email on the day it ships.
4. Delivery
Check the parcel on arrival and report any damage with photos.
3D printed first, shipped second
Nothing is taken from a shelf: the piece you order is printed after your payment. The production time is shown on each product page and repeated in your order confirmation. Transit time is added on top and depends on the destination and the carrier.
Several pieces in one order
An order with several objects ships in one go. If one piece takes noticeably longer than the rest, the workshop may send the others without waiting and forward the remainder afterwards, at no extra cost to you. You are told by email when that happens.
Shipping costs and areas served
Shipping costs depend on the actual weight of the parcel and the destination. They are calculated and shown in the basket before payment. The destinations accepted are offered when you enter your delivery address; the carriers and indicative transit times are set out in the terms and conditions of sale. Transit times come from the carriers and are outside the workshop's control.
Tracking your parcel
Every shipment has a tracking number, emailed on the day it is handed to the carrier and available from your account if you have one.
Returns, withdrawal and broken pieces
You change your mind
The objects in the shop are 3D printed, but they are catalogue models, not pieces built to your own specifications: the right of withdrawal applies, within the time limits and conditions set out in the terms and conditions of sale. Tell the workshop in writing, then send the piece back complete and in a condition that allows it to be resold. Return postage is at your expense in this case, and the refund is issued once the return has been received.
If production has not started yet, write straight away: an order stopped before printing saves a pointless round trip.
A piece that is broken or not what you ordered
This is not a withdrawal and it costs you nothing. Write from the Contact page with your order number and a photo. Damage in transit or a production error is put right: the piece is reprinted or refunded, whichever you prefer, and any return postage is covered by the workshop.
Your statutory guarantees
The legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects apply on top. They are detailed in the terms and conditions of sale.
Questions about shipping and returns
Once the piece has been made and checked. The production time is shown on the product page and in your order confirmation, and it starts when payment is received. You get an email with the tracking number on the day the parcel is handed to the carrier.
The destinations accepted are offered when you enter your delivery address, and the matching costs appear in the basket before payment. For a destination that is not listed, write to the workshop before ordering: a solution can sometimes be found.
It depends on the actual weight of the parcel and the destination, and is calculated automatically in the basket before payment. Free shipping may apply above a certain order value: when it does, the basket says so clearly. Nothing is added after you confirm the order.
Yes. Every shipment carries a tracking number, emailed on the day it is handed to the carrier. The link stays available in the dispatch email, and in your customer account if you created one. If tracking stops moving for several days, let the workshop know.
Tell the workshop in writing first, within the period set out in the terms and conditions of sale. You will then be given the return address. Send the piece back complete and in good condition, at your own cost; the refund is issued after the return is received, to the payment method used for the order.
If the packaging is visibly damaged on delivery, note specific reservations with the courier if you can, and take photos before opening. Then write to the workshop with your order number: a piece broken in transit is reprinted or refunded, at no cost to you.
Yes. The pieces in the shop are catalogue models printed in 3D, not objects built to your own specifications, so the right of withdrawal applies. A piece adapted at your request, using dimensions you supplied, may be an exception: that is made clear before you order, case by case.
